Since the pandemic, so much of our lives - shopping, meeting friends, working and our children’s education - now happen online. We rely on our internet connection.

That’s why the Tory Government's choice to drop plans for better broadband is so disgraceful. We were promised fast broadband to all in the UK by 2025, it is now clear that was a lie.

At a time when so many businesses have moved online and home working is leading to business opportunities outside of major cities, a fast and affordable broadband connection is not a luxury, it's essential.

Welsh Liberal Democrats are calling on the UK Government to immediately recommit to delivering fast broadband to all by 2025.
