Gower - Franck Banza

The Welsh Liberal Democrats have announced Franck Banza as their candidate for Gower in the next General Election.

Franck Banza has been officially selected as the Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate for the Gower constituency for the upcoming general election.

Well-known for his accomplishments as a social entrepreneur and leader in the third sector, Franck offers extensive expertise working with diverse organizations such as charities, social enterprises, and local small businesses. Having resided locally for many years, Franck understands firsthand the constituency’s pressing issues, from creating economic opportunities to expanding community services.

Born in Congo, Franck knows the struggles marginalized groups face and the transformative power of advocating for the wellbeing of an entire community. His personal journey has instilled the resolve to keep fighting - the same resolve he now channels into bettering life in Gower.

Franck's political priorities at this election are providing career development and educational opportunities for local youth, investing in infrastructure to support tourism, ensuring access to affordable housing, and championing diversity and social cohesion.
