About Jon

Jon joined the then Liberal Party in 1980 whilst still at school. He has been an active member ever since. A member of Llanelli Town Council from 1991-95, Jon has been a Westminster General Election Agent 3 times & Assembly Election Agent once. A former carer for both his mother & brother before their deaths, Jon is now retired.

First active in the Welsh Liberal Democrats in 1993, Jon has occupied several positions, namely Secretary of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, a member of the Welsh Board & it’s predecessor the Welsh NEC & a member of most Welsh Party committees over the years as well as serving as Welsh rep to both the Federal Conference Committee & Federal People Development Committee.
