Information for Organisations at Welsh Lib Dem Spring Conference 2026

Welcome, and thank you for joining us at our Spring Conference

Provisional Conference Agenda

Venue Floorplan

Please provide the name of those attending from your organisation by emailing elgan.morgan@libdems.wales by Wednesday, 25th February.

When you arrive, please collect your Conference passes from the Conference Registration Desk on the ground floor of the Leaonardo Hotel Cardiff. Conference passes will be available upon arrival and must be worn around the venue. You will not need IF to collect your pass.

 


Information for Exhibitors

If you're yet to provide your Exhibition Listing, please send a high resolution image of your logo, and a 50-word description of your organisation/exhibition stand by email to elgan.morgan@libdems.wales by Wednesday, 25th February.

Set-Up Times

  • Friday, 6th March: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Saturday, 7th March: 8:00am - 9:00am

Please let us know if you plan on arriving on the Friday. If you are setting up on the Friday you should head straight to the Duchess Suite on the first floor, if setting up on the Saturday morning head to the registration desk on the ground floor to pick up your Conference pass before you head upstairs.

Exhibition Opening Hours

We ask that stands remain open during the following times:

  • Saturday, 7th March: 9:30am – 4:30pm
  • Sunday, 8th March: 9:30am – 1:00pm

Security & Storage

The exhibition area spans two spaces—one will be locked overnight, while the other remains publicly accessible. If your stand includes valuables, please let us know so we can place you in the lockable area or arrange secure storage.

  • Time: Sit-down at 7:30pm

A small number of tickets are still available if you wish to attend.

Menu

There is a fixed menu for the Dinner which can be found on our Conference Dinner page. Please let us know if you, or any of your guests, have any dietary requirements by emailing elgan.morgan@libdems.wales as soon as possible. We will liaise with the venue if an alternative option is required.

Information for Fringe Organisers

If you're yet to provide your Fringe Listing, please send a high resolution image of your logo, and a 50-word description of your fringe by email to elgan.morgan@libdems.wales by Wednesday, 25th February.

Rooms and Timings

Timings and room name for your fringe is available on the Fringe Listings. The floor plan shows you where the rooms are in relation to each other.

The capacities for the rooms are:

  • Wedgewood Suite: 50 cabaret style
  • Snowdon Suite: 25 theatre style

Set-Up Time

Rooms will be available for set-up 20 minutes before your scheduled start time. We ask that you vecate the room within 15 minutes of your fringe finishing.

Breakfast Options

  • Pastries with tea and coffee: £4.20 per person
  • Bacon Rolls with tea and coffee: £6.96 per person
  • Hot Fork Buffet Breakfast: £26.50 per person

Lunch Options

  • Working Buffet Lunch: £16.50 per person
  • Hot Fork Buffet Lunch: £23 per person

Tea & Coffee Options

  • Tea, Coffee & Snack: £4.20 per serving

Other Important Information

 

Travel and Parking

We encourage everyone to travel to the Confernece by public transport.

Drop Off

If you are just dropping anything off at the venue you can park in area outside the hotel entrance. Please let the hotel reception know that this is what you're doing and they may advise you to park somewhere else.

On-Site Parking

Parking on-site is on a first come first served basis.

Cost: £10 for day use or £25 for 24 hours.

Nearby Car Parks

For additional parking options, the following car parks are within walking distance of the venue. Some offer the ability to park for the entire weekend and/or pre-booking your parking:

Parking Advice

Avoid parking illegally on nearby streets, as you risk receiving a fixed penalty notice or having your vehicle clamped or towed away.
